Tour Limousin: Anthony Roux golpea primero

Anthony Roux es el primer líder del Tour du Limousin tras imponerse en la etapa inaugural de la misma en un final realmente desorganizado y caótico, donde los sprinters no han podido mostrar su jerarquía frente a los numerosos intentos de sorprenderlos.

Una escapada con presencia española en la figura de Ángel Madrazo (Delko Marseille) que junto a Anthony Perez (Cofidis) y Pierrick Quemeneur (Direct Energie) han animado la etapa desde el primer tercio y aguantado prácticamente hasta los últimos 10 kilómetros.

De hecho, Quemeneur ha querido resistir un tiempo en solitario, aunque insuficiente contra un pelotón del que tiraban ante todo Vital Concept y Nippo-Vini Fantini, y donde también ha habido momentos de caos con un fuerte corte por caída. Minutos después todo ha vuelto un poco a la normalidad, con la mayoría de corredores entrando de nuevo al grupo principal.

El lanzamiento de la llegada a meta ha sido un completo descontrol, con un sinfín de corredores tratando de arrancar desde lejos incluso antes de llegar al último kilómetro. Caso de Alexys Brunel (Groupama-FDJ), Gesbert (Fortuneo-Samsic) poco después o incluso Cosnefroy (AG2R-La Mondiale). Finalmente Roux también ha logrado aprovechar su potencia como rodador para imponerse sobre Gavazzi.
