Tour Provence: Bouhanni vuelve a reivindicarse (Vídeo)

Nacer Bouhanni (1990, Team Arkéa Samsic) ha sido el más rápido en la primera etapa del Tour de La Provence (2.Pro, Francia), de 149,5 kilómetros entre Châteaurenard y Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, y es el primer líder.

El viento mistral típico de la Provenza ha respetado al pelotón la jornada inaugural, que ha llegado compacto a los últimos kilómetros. En un tenso sprint, la velocidad del francés Nacer Bouhanni (Arkéa Samsic) ha marcado las diferencias y le ha permitido hacerse con su segunda victoria de 2020, después de un 2019 en blanco. Los italianos Jakub Mareczko (CCC Team) y Giacomo Nizzolo (NTT Pro Cycling) cruzaron la meta tras Bouhanni, el primer líder de la carrera.

Jacobs (Movistar Team), Quarterman (Trek-Segafredo), Combaud (Nippo Delko) y Louvet (St-Michel-Auber 93) han protagonizado la fuga de la jornada, que se ha compenetrado a la perfección y solo ha podido ser cazada en los últimos tres kilómetros.

La carrera se empezará a decidir el viernes 175 kilómetros con una primera parte muy exigente, el Col de l’Espigoulier (1ª), 9,3 km al 5,6%, en el kilómetro 10,5, y el Col de la Coutronne (1ª), 7,9 km al 4,8%, en el kilómetro 53,8. Las subidas a Brûlat (2,4 km al 8,5%), kilómetros 151,4, y la llegada a Les Crêtes (3,4 km al 8%) seleccionarán la vuelta antes de afrontar el sábado el final en Chalet Reynard (Mont Ventoux), 14,6 km al 7,6%.
